Jochem Myjer (Leiden, 1977) won op zijn twintigste het Groninger Studenten Cabaret Festival. Met zijn vorige show Adem in, adem uit speelde hij zijn honderdste voorstelling in Carré en won hij de Poelifinario. "Myjer is de grote publiekslieveling van het Nederlandse cabaret, met shows die barsten van vrolijkheid en optimisme, maar nooit leeghoofdig worden, al was het maar omdat Myjer zo'n begenadigd performer is en hij zijn shows minutieus in. elkaar zet en van allerlei creatieve toeters en bellen voorziet." - VARAGids In seizoen 2021/2022 stond Jochem niet op het toneel, maar werkte hij aan het derde en laatste deel van zijn kinderboeken reeks De Gorgels. Op 15 november 2022 werd het boek gelanceerd, voorafgegaan door een landelijke voorleestour langs basisscholen. De Gorgels en de laatste kans stond drie weken onafgebroken op nummer 1 in de Bestseller Top 60. In 2025 ging de theatervoorstelling De Gorgels in première. Momenteel tourt Jochem door het hele land met zijn zevende voorstelling Net alsof, die in juni 2024 in première ging. In oktober 2025 won hij met dit programma de Poelifinario in de categorie Entertainment.
