Jon Wood was born just outside Nashville, TN, but spent most of his childhood in Wake Forest, NC. He returned to Nashville in 2019, where he made lots of new connections and lots of new music. In his time there, he created a large catalog of works as an artist and as a songwriter, including cowriting credits on "Hate This Town," which was released by Michael Ray in 2024. In 2025, Jon Wood was one of 12 musicians chosen to star in CBS's competition show "The Road." Jon worked alongside Keith Urban, Taylor Sheridan, and Blake Shelton during the show. In 2026, Jon returned to his roots in North Carolina. Jon is an experienced performer and has played 100s of public and private shows, including weddings and corporate gigs, all across the United States.
