Keeps is an Indie Rock/Dream Pop band consisting of members Agustin Escalante, Robbie Jackson, Patrick Sewalk, and Alex Moore. While they all come from different cities, the band formed after meeting one another in Nashville, TN in the fall of 2012. It was their shared interest for 80s and 90s records, reverb pedals, and shimmering sounds from iconic acts like David Bowie, and Yo La Tengo that brought them together. In the early days, Keeps began writing songs in Agustin’s dorm room with just two guitars, a floor tom, and a snare drum. Their dreamy and melodic sound would eventually develop into bigger and bolder songs, and landed the band on several stages across the country- as well as opening for larger acts like Tennis, Deerhunter, Alex Bleeker & the Freaks, and Amen Dunes to name a few. Since forming, Keeps released a full-length album titled ‘Brief Spirit’ in 2016, and are currently finishing their sophomore LP titled ‘Affectianado’, due in the Fall of 2020.
