Katla is a rock group from Joensuu, Finland. It was founded in 1999 by Tomi Räsänen and Ossi Kumpulainen. The name of the band, Katla, is the dragon in Astrid Lindgrens book Bröderna Lejonhjärta (Brothers Lionheart).
