KEiiNO, the Norwegian trio who have captivated millions worldwide with their unique fusion of ancient Sámi joik and contemporary pop music, are bringing their extraordinary live show around the world with their Chromium Heart Tour. KEiiNO rose to international prominence when they represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2019, with 'Spirit in the Sky', winning the public televote. Since then, they have continued to develop their artistry, releasing 3 albums and singles streaming 225 million times, touring over 20 countries, and playing to over 500,000 fans across the globe. Their songwriting has only grown deeper with time. Comprising Sámi songwriter, rapper and joiker Fred Buljo, seasoned vocalist Alexandra Rotan and hitmaker and singer-songwriter Tom Hugo, KEiiNO are widely recognised as one of the most compelling live acts to emerge from Scandinavia in recent years. Their music is unlike anything else: Fred's joik - pronounced 'yoik' /ˈjɔjk/ (YOY-k), a traditional vocal communication form of the Sámi people of northern Norway, Sweden, and Finland, sits at the heart of their sound, woven into anthemic, arena-ready pop production. The result is music that is both ancient and entirely of the moment. KEiiNO are not merely a pop act. Their music honours cultural heritage and identity through storytelling. Fred's joik has been heard by millions who have never encountered the Sámi people or their 10,000-year-old culture, and he has used that platform with remarkable intention and grace. Today, it's not unusual for Fred to conduct KEiiNO audiences in impromptu joik lessons. As he has said, leading a KEiiNO audience in a communal joik – thousands of voices joining together – remains one of the most powerful moments in his career.
