About Kabin Crew
A young rap collective based out of Cork City's northside, The Kabin Crew are pushing the boundaries of what hip hop is all about. Their songs, which have grown out of weekly hip hop workshops at the Kabin Studio, have quickly put them on the map through word of mouth and viral videos of them performing.
Kabin Crew released their highly anticipated track, "The Spark," via Rubyworks. With over 20 million views across all socials, this summer anthem is captivating audiences with its infectious energy. Produced by Garry McCarthy at Kabin Studio, a non-profit music organisation, the song features talented Irish children rapping and dancing with wholesome lyrics and a catchy drum n bass beat. Originating from a creative Easter camp at a refugee centre, "The Spark" embodies youthful creativity and resilience, making it a perfect soundtrack for the sunny season.
The Kabin Studio is a youth music space supported by Music Generation Cork City (an initiative funded by U2 and The Ireland Funds).
