About Kjwan
Kjwan has been a formidable force in the Philippine rock scene since forming in 2003, known for their raw energy, electrifying live shows, and uncompromising musicality. The band—Marc Abaya (vocals/guitar), Kelley Mangahas (bass), Eo Marcos (drums), and Louis Isok (guitar)—continues to evolve, blending alternative rock, post-grunge, and experimental elements into a sound that’s both powerful and distinct.
The addition of guitarist Louis Isok in 2022 ushered in a new creative era, reigniting the band’s momentum as they moved toward their next full-length release. This chapter produced hard-hitting singles like “Dahas,” the emotionally charged “Sa Huli,” and most recently, “MSK,” further expanding the band’s sonic palette.
As they continue to push boundaries and challenge expectations, Kjwan remains one of the most enduring and influential rock acts in the country—driven by an unrelenting passion for music and a deep connection with their fans.
