Formed in 2009 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Kelevra continues to supply a serious dose of groove metal to the masses. After several member changes, the band finds itself with our most complete line-up to date, set to bring aggressive, melodic and exciting music to the prairies and beyond. Since releasing our debut EP “Overthrown” in 2013, the band has developed a loyal, local fan base, and continues to spread the noise outside of our hometown, Regina. A distinct and unique approach to metal, accompanied by a high intensity live show, has provided great opportunities for the band over our seven year existence. This includes shredding Loud As Hell festival in 2015 and a chance to open for acts such as Devin Townsend, Revocation, Dying Fetus, Veil of Maya, All Shall Perish, Devildriver, Threat Signal, Death Angel, Kenmode, Kataklysm, and more! In August of 2016, Kelevra released a second EP, entitled “Lividity”, which consists of some of our most impressive material to date. Lividity is jam packed with fast-paced, foot stomping riffs and is a great example of our bands passion for melody, songwriting and an energetic live performance. In support of the release, Kelevra embarked on a very successful prairie headlining tour in the summer of 2016. Looking towards the future, we hope to build on this year and continue to deliver a new and exciting taste on modern metal to western Canada and beyond. . .
