Ciao, un grupo pop chileno, se formó entre 1999 y 2002 con Nicole Natalino, Tomás Manzi, Bárbara Sepúlveda, y Pablo Holman. Lanzaron su álbum debut "El Poder de los Niños" en 2002, interpretando éxitos del pop italiano. En 2003, cambiaron su nombre a Kudai, que significa "joven trabajador" en mapudungun. Lanzaron "Vuelo" en 2004, producido por Gustavo Pinochet, con éxitos como "Sin despertar" y "Ya nada queda". En 2006, lanzaron "Sobrevive". Nicole Natalino dejó la banda y fue reemplazada por Gabriela Villalba. Regrabaron "Sobrevive" con la voz de Gabriela, logrando más éxito. En 2007, se presentaron en el Festival de Viña del Mar y decidieron establecerse en México, recibiendo varios premios en los Premios MTV Latinoamérica. Lanzaron "Nadha" en 2008, ganando premios. En 2009, anunciaron un descanso y cancelaron una gira de despedida. Se separaron en 2010 tras lanzar un álbum recopilatorio. Se reunieron en 2016 con el regreso de Nicole Natalino y lanzaron "Laberinto" en 2019, recibiendo nominaciones y premios. En 2020, regresaron con nuevas versiones de "Sin despertar" y "Escapar", y lanzaron el álbum "Revuelo" en 2021. Actualmente, Kudai está en preproducción para un nuevo álbum que se espera lanzar a finales de 2024, con material inédito y nuevas versiones de sus éxitos.
