lectronic artist and producer Khalab has developed an international reputation for his original fusion of traditional African sounds, deep bass work, jazz, and heavily layered & dense electronic textures. His music evolution is a seamless journey — from the most ancestral tribes to the unexplored cosmos; from jungle to megalopoli’s chaos; from the remotest subconscious to the furthest and real projection of future Africa. Tradition and evolution, synthesis and universal languages, research in the electronic field with a dark, shamanic, and groovy approach; those are the key elements of Khalab's music philosophy. Affiliated to Black Acre, Wonderwheel Recordings, and Real World Records. ‘Layers’, his brand new album, has been released in Aug 2023 for his own label Hyperjazz Records.
