About Kero One
Kero One is a 3 tool producer/DJ/rapper born and raised in California with a deep
catalogue of music. Many may know Kero One for crafting the jazz hiphop
sound into his own style of mixing live instruments with sampling in the early
2000’s. When Kero released his self-produced 12” vinyl “Check the Blueprints”in 2003, he quickly found underground fame in Japan and for the next 10 years
became a full time musician touring the world. Despite being an Asian face in a hiphop landscape, Kero broke down barriers receiving co-signs from legends like Stevie Wonder,
Will.I.am and Maseo of De La Soul.
Since then, Kero released several albums strictly as a producer and beatmaker,
“Reflection Eternal,” in 2015 and “Fuzzy Logic” in 2024 which has amassed
many millions of streams, TV song placements and radio play on BBC1 UK.
Additionally, Kero is known for his many collaborations and tours with popular Korean artists which led to producing #1 chart hits there. Most recently, Kero was honored in the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco in 2024 for his involvement
in the “Hallyu wave”.
