From the moment they burst onto the scene in 2001, Lasgo took the global dance world by storm with their unmistakable sound — a seamless fusion of energetic beats, emotional melodies, and captivating vocals. Founded by Peter Luts and David Vervoort, and later continued by Luts and Jef Martens from 2008 onwards, the Belgian hit machine scored no fewer than seven top 10 singles in their homeland and achieved worldwide success with timeless club anthems such as ‘Something’, ‘Alone’, ‘Surrender’, ‘Pray’, ‘All Night Long’, ‘Over You’, ‘I Wonder’, and ‘Gone’.

With over five million physical album sales for ‘Some Things’, ‘Far Away’, and ‘Smile’, Lasgo became one of Europe’s defining dance acts of the early 2000s. Their impact was recognized with major accolades including two WMC Awards, a TMF Award, a Smash Hits Award (UK), and a BMI Award (USA). The group performed to sold-out crowds across Europe, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Australia, and Asia, leading to nearly a decade of back-to-back summers filled with international touring.

Today, Lasgo continues to resonate with audiences around the world. Their breakout hit ‘Something’ alone has amassed over 100 million Spotify streams, and the group boasts more than 1.4 million monthly listeners, a testament to their enduring legacy and the ever-growing reach of their fanbase. With an uplifting, emotional sound that transcends generations, Lasgo’s music continues to inspire and energize dance floors worldwide.

In response to the renewed global appetite for eurodance, Peter Luts launched a search in 2023 for a fresh, dynamic vocalist to usher in the next era of Lasgo. After a series of auditions, he discovered the charismatic and immensely talented Dutch singer Nikki Born — whose voice and presence proved a perfect match for the project. With Nikki as the new frontwoman, Lasgo is writing a bold new chapter, blending their classic sound with a modern edge.

Following a decade-long studio silence, Lasgo returns in 2025 with their comeback single ‘Ride The Storm’, introducing the next phase in their evolution. The track will coincide with a fully booked summer tour across Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Finland, Austria, and Budapest, with a Brazilian tour on the horizon later this year.
