You may have heard Lovewhip’s song “Wrecking Machine” on SHOWTIME’s hit TV show “Shameless”! The original dance band, which has released 5 critically acclaimed albums, is lead by award-winning singer/songwriter/producer and internationally renowned guitarist Erin Harpe and her musical collaborator, husband/bass player Jim Countryman. The busy pair also founded boogie blues band Erin Harpe & the Delta Swingers (which has three albums out on the VizzTone label), and were nominated for a Blues Music Award for their latest album “Let The Mermaids Flirt With Me: A Tribute To Mississippi John Hurt”.
