Luis Alfonso nació en la ciudad de Popayán, Colombia. Es músico, compositor y cantante del género popular y ranchera, con recorrido musical desde los 10 años, siendo profesional a los 20 años y día a día consolidándose en el mundo musical. Ha sido reconocido en ciudades como Bogotá, Medellín, Cúcuta, Cartagena, Cali, Montería, entre otras y ha llevado su música a Ecuador en diferentes oportunidades. A lo largo de su carrera ha compartido tarima con grandes artistas del género como Ana Gabriel, Tony Vega, Darío Gómez, Jean Carlos Centeno, Jessi Uribe, Jhon Alex Castaño, Jhonny Rivera, Luis Matteus, entre otros, además de participar en grandes ferias equinas importantes del país. Fue participante del concurso de música "A Otro Nivel" del Canal Caracol. En este, tuvo la oportunidad de cantar algunas reconocidas canciones del género popular y con ello cautivó a todo el público gracias a su voz inigualable, su personalidad y carisma en el escenario.
