The product of a violent childhood, 20-year-old Ledbyher is described by GRM Daily as a 'musical polymath. Introducing her own sub-genre 'Bedroom Drill' back in 2020, she combines bouncy drill beats on top of her tongue-in-cheek, nostalgic but hazy sound and distinctly accented lyricism, which she actively is developing. From Indonesian and Scottish descent, Ledbyher pulls influence from almost everywhere, but mostly references a troubled past and home life in Norfolk where she strove with her sister Anjeli for a new life in London. This self-produced songstress and engineer is coming through the smoke in both the city and the country, recently joining the 169 Collective frontlined by underground rap legend OnOe CaponOe. Determined to craft her own path in the scene, Ledbyher is one to watch, and to watch closely.
