About Los Enanitos Verdes
LOS ENANITOS VERDES es la banda que nacio en la ciudad de Mendoza , Argentina, en noviembre de 1979. Integrada por Marciano Cantero en voz y bajo Felipe Staiti en guitarra y Daniel Piccolo en batería.
Comenzaron con presentaciones en diferentes pubs, pasando luego a pequeños teatros no sólo de su provincia sino también de las vecinas, convirtiéndose en poco tiempo en la banda más popular y requerida de Mendoza y la zona de Cuyo.
A principios del 83 viajan a Buenos Aires a probar suerte, presentándose en pubs y bares.
En 1984 el trío es invitado a participar en el "Festival de La Falda". Ese año LOS ENANITOS VERDES fue elegido "Grupo Revelación" del Festival, siendo aclamados por todo el público y la prensa especializada.
Después del Festival, CANTERO, STAITI y PICCOLO viajan a Buenos Aires junto a Sergio EMBRIONI como músico invitado y graban para el sello independiente MORDISCO su primer Lp, "Los Enanitos Verdes". Este primer álbum incluía, el tema "Aún sigo cantando", que hizo estragos en las radios capitalinas convirtiéndose rápidamente en un "clásico" del rock argentino.
