Luis reaffirms with this album his commitment to the rhythm that chose him as a child when he recorded his first salsa album at age nine. His popularity in his native Philadelphia received acclaim and support from legendary architects of Salsa. Luis carries the traditions forward of a genre that has always mixed current and contemporary trends to its sound uplifting the next era of salsa’s prominence. The album includes the single, “5 Minutos” and “Let You Down” and English R&B Salsa blend. Following the success and innovation of his last albums GRIS, the Latin GRAMMY® nominated Coexistencia and GRAMMY® nominated, Voy A Ti, Luis continues his versatility with a sound that will leave a lasting mark in the history of tropical music modernizing this beloved genre. His hit song, “Bandido” crowned the Billboard Tropical Airplay chart for two consecutive weeks, the only salsa song in 2023 to top the charts and was nominated for a 2024 Latin Billboard award for Best Tropical Song. “Como Se Compara” topped Billboard Tropical Airplay, his third number one hit and reached #2 on Latin Airplay in 2025.
