Hailing from Lancs, Yorks Cumbria and Kent, Louie is a 6 piece combination flying high on the Resurgence of British Guitar music. Louie released their debut Single Trees/One big repeat in November 2005 to much acclaim. Draped in skinny leathers and nostalgic attitude, Louie’s Gigs are raw and pack with youthful infectious energy. Their style Ramones-esque Microphone assaults meeting Buzzcock-esque speed guitar with completely creditable lyrics. Included on the HMV CD of ones to watch in 2006, Carl Baratt from Dirty pretty things also sported a Louie T shirt throughout their recent London gig. Watch this space.
