Après dix ans de silence, The Lanskies est de retour avec un nouvel album et un nouveau line-up. L'album « War Machine » est sorti le 17 avril 2026 chez ZRP. Inventeurs de la Hot Wave (Tracks sur Arte avait ainsi décrit leur musique), The Lanskies reviennent pour allumer l’incendie. Un projet ambitieux, à la croisée des influences post-punk et indie-pop, enregistré au Studio de la Chouette, mixé par Clive Martin, ingénieur son de renom (Queen, The Cure, les Wampas, les Négresses Vertes, Stereophonics, … ), promettant un son à la fois dense et racé. 11 titres rock, puissants qui mêlent les influences (Pulp, Talking Heads, Kaiser Chiefs, LCD Soundsystem et même Oasis) tout en gardant une singularité forte. Aujourd’hui, The Lanskies avancent comme une force de frappe transcontinentale : le Liverpudlien incendiaire Lewis Evans au chant, l’architecte de la guitare Florian von Kunnsberg, le bassiste venu de Sheffield Anthony Cox, et le duo rythmique français surpuissant composé d’Antoine Cadot (batterie) et Alex Paul (guitare lead).
