Formé en 2007, Les petits Princes de la Hot-Wave dépoussièrent les années 80 avec une force et une arrogance qui n’ont d’égal que certains soirs d’ivresse à Liverpool. Leur énergie est basée sur des rythmiques de la vague post-punk, auxquelles s’ajoutent des guitares mélodiques et percutantes. Lewis, le chanteur venu tout droit de Liverpool, possède une culture exhaustive en matière pop, de Tom Jones à Robert Smith ! Les lignes de basse de Peter Hook (Joy Division, New Order) ne sont jamais très loin et la batterie aime vous faire danser à la façon des combos rock/dance mancuniens des early 90’s. C’est ainsi que le groupe trouve sa couleur entre new-wave, rock indé made in New-York (The Strokes, Interpol) et pop millésimée (Blur, Foals).
