For over three decades, London Elektricity has been a central figure in the evolution of drum & bass music, influencing the genre from intimate London clubs to major festival stages worldwide. As the founder of the esteemed Hospital Records, Tony Colman played a pivotal role in shaping modern drum & bass, nurturing talents such as High Contrast, Netsky, Danny Byrd, and Camo & Krooked. From 1996 to 2021, his stewardship transformed the genre, elevating it from underground scenes to international prominence while maintaining its authentic essence. London Elektricity’s personal discography boasts seven studio albums, including classics like Pull The Plug, Power Ballads, Syncopated City, and Yikes!. Iconic tracks such as “Rewind,” “Just One Second,” “Song in the Key of Knife,” and “The Plan That Cannot Fail” have become enduring anthems within the drum & bass community. In 2024, Colman embarked on a new creative journey by launching Fast Soul Music, a label dedicated to soulful drum & bass and collaborative ventures. This platform has facilitated partnerships with a diverse array of artists, including: * Doktor: Collaborated on the label’s inaugural release, “Don’t Stop,” blending energetic vocals with Colman’s signature production. * Catching Cairo: Featured on the track “Always Golden,” showcasing her distinctive vocal style. * DJ Marky and Makoto: Renowned figures in the drum & bass scene, contributing their unique sounds to the label’s expanding catalog. * Zara Kershaw, Anile, and Vonné: Each bringing their individual artistry to collaborations that have enriched the label’s offerings. London Elektricity’s global presence remains robust, with headline tours & performances in USA, Canada, Mexico, Indonesia, Japan and in Europe at venues like Printworks London and festivals such as Liquicity, Sun & Bass, and Let It Roll.  In 2025 he also launched his own intimate Fast Soul Music events series, born out of his commitment to make his iconic live experience and the love shared by drum & bass music, accessible to all with affordable ticket prices at the heart of the brands ethos.
