Originally from Tokyo and spending her youth in Canada, singer-songwriter milet mixes her Japanese roots and English vibes to create her own brand of unique music that attracts fans with her husky singing voice. milet made her major debut in 2019 with the song “inside you” produced by Toru from ONE OK ROCK. She built up her career performing on prominent Japanese shows and even in the closing ceremony of the 2020 Summer Olympics. milet put out popular anime tie-in songs too, collaborating with MAN WITH A MISSION on theme songs “Kitsuna no Kiseki” and “Koi Kogare” for worldwide viral anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Swordsmith Village Arc. milet has now released several EPs and 3 studio albums, and more to come! milet（ミレイ）・シンガーソングライター 思春期をカナダで過ごし、グローバルな存在感を放つソングライティングとハスキーかつ重厚感のある独特の唄声を兼ね揃えた女性シンガーソングライター。 2019年3月6日にメジャーデビュー。Toru (ONE OK ROCK) プロデュースによるデビュー曲「inside you」はiTunesなど11個の音楽配信サイトで1位を記録。8月21日にはTVドラマ「偽装不倫」主題歌を収録した3rd EP『us』をリリースし、オリコンデジタルランキング初登場1位を記録したほか、Spotifyなど7つのサブスクサービスで1位を記録。 2019年末、音楽配信サイト“レコチョク”による「レコチョク年間ランキング2019」のダウンロード部門、ストリーミング部門の両方で新人アーティストランキング1位を記録。デビュー曲「inside you」は「東京ドラマアウォード 2019」主題歌賞を受賞した他、TOKYO FM「桑田佳祐 のやさしい夜遊び」年末恒例企画「桑田佳祐が選ぶ、2019年邦楽シングル・ベスト20」にて1位に選出される。 通算5枚のEPリリースを経て、2020年6月3日には全18曲を収録した1stフルアルバム『eyes』をリリースし、オリコン週間CDアルバムランキング及びデジタルアルバムランキングにて共に初登場1位を記録。さらにBillboard JAPAN “HOT ALBUMS”では2週連続で1位を獲得し、8週連続でTOP10入りも果たす。2020年末には第71回NHK紅白歌合戦に初出場。
