Banda formada em meados de 2002 no ABC paulista, sob forte influência da filosofia do bem e da justiça passadas de maneira geral através da música reggae ortodoxa (música com sentimento e palavra de sabedoria). Mato Seco,"O estopim pra incendiar a babilônia", surgiu desenvolvendo um trabalho objetivo e ligado com a verdade do reggae. A Resistência, a Força e a Purificação, símbolo da banda, representam alguns dos maiores dons que Deus nos deu, buscando mostrar a todos os homens a verdadeira razão da vindade cada "Eu na Terra".
