Inspired by the work and spirit of Czech author Milan Kundera, Milanku expresses brutality, nostalgia and melancholia. Defined by its minimal use of vocals, Montreal post-rock band Milanku focuses on sobriety to express contemporary chaos and lack of common sense. Known as a reference of the genre throughout Quebec, Milanku has been GAMIQ-nominated for Best-Album – Metal several times within the last years.
