About Matthijn Buwalda
Matthijn vangt het leven in liedjes. Sinds 2006 is de zanger/liedschrijver Matthijn Buwalda onderweg met zijn Nederlandstalige liederen, en steeds meer mensen ontdekken zijn muziek die het beste te omschrijven is als een kruising tussen kleinkunst en Nederpop.Muzikale samenwerkingen met o.a. Stef Bos, Stephanie Struijk en Jan Smit tonen de veelzijdigheid van Matthijn als schrijver én zanger. hij won in 2015 de Buma cultuurprijs/Zilveren Duif award in de categorie Beste lied. In 2024 nam Matthijn deel aan het televisieprogramma Beste Zangers. Na zijn tour 'Sterrenhemel' (2024-2025) gaat hij in 2026 de theaters in met een nieuw album: 'De rest mag je hebben'!
