Mr.Rain, classe ‘91, è un cantautore, rapper e produttore italiano con all’attivo 22 dischi di Platino e 5 Oro. Appassionato della musica di Eminem e della scena hip hop nazionale ed estera di quel periodo, Mr.Rain, pseudonimo di Mattia Balardi, compone ed è ispirato solo quando piove. Nel 2009 scrive i primi pezzi e nel 2011 produce e pubblica il suo primo mixtape ‘Time 2 Eat’. Nel 2015 esce ‘Memories’, primo disco ufficiale, autoprodotto. ‘Tutto Quello che Ho’, il secondo singolo estratto dall’album segue il successo di ‘Carillon’ (Doppio Platino). A giugno 2016 pubblica ’Supereroe’, già considerato un classico dai suoi estimatori. Nel 2017 il singolo ‘I grandi non piangono mai’, la conferma del talento del giovane rapper (Disco di Platino) a cui segue il successo di “Ipernova”, (doppio platino). Nel 2020 arrivano “Fiori di Chernobyl” (Doppio Platino), “9.3” (Platino) che insieme a “Meteroriti” (Platino) e a “Non c’è più musica” con BIRDY, sono contenuti nell’album “Petrichor”, uscito a gennaio 2021 e certificato Oro. A marzo 2022 il terzo album “Fragile” scritto e prodotto dallo stesso cantautore. A febbraio 2023 arriva terzo al Festival di Sanremo con “Supereroi”, conquistando il grande pubblico e diventando la vera rivelazione del Festival. “Supereroi”, certificato sei volte platino, scala in poco tempo tutte le classifiche. A maggio 2023 pubblica ‘La Fine del Mondo’ con Sangiovanni.
