About Molly Grace

Nashville’s resident rising pop star Molly Grace has built a reputation on dazzling live shows packed with theatricality, full-throttle charisma, and powerhouse vocals. Channeling the queer joy of Chappell Roan, playful production of Remi Wolf, and irresistible magnetism of Prince, Molly is an artist who leans into the full spectrum of pop potential, creating music that’s all at once playful, polished, and packed with hooks. Whether commanding the stage at Bonnaroo —a set that earned her the accolade of Festival Highlight from The Nashville Scene — or headlining her ongoing But I’m A Pop Star! tour, inclusivity and optimism are front and center. Now, with her debut album Blush on the way, Molly is sharing her vision of pop music that’s both glamorous and deeply personal. Written over the last year between Nashville and Los Angeles, Blush captures the highs and lows of the human experience. “You could be embarrassed, you could be flirty, you could be hot and bothered — it encapsulates all those feelings,” she says of the album’s title and concept. The project’s bright aesthetic follows suit, drawing inspiration from the sparkle of showgirls and cabaret shows. With production helmed by Keith Sorrells and Oscar Linnander of The Orphanage, and co-writing credits from songwriters Claire Ernst and Wrabel, the record was polished to achieve a high-gloss shine, ready for radio and the stage alike. A number of other writers and producers eagerly attached themselves to the project, including Julie Frost, SXSSY, MSquared, and GAIA, each lending a distinct layer to the LP. Molly’s signature mix of humor and heart translates effortlessly into her songwriting, from the effervescent confidence of “Do Me (Feels So Good)” and contagious charm of “Mad at Her Forever” to the intimate vulnerability of closing track “Soft.” Over the course of the 12 songs on Blush, Molly easily oscillates from cheeky musings on budding romances to uplifting visions of resilience. Each offering on the album is bolstered by an undercurrent of optimism, whether it’s in the dust-off joie de vivre of “WYKYK” or gospel-toned “Heaven Sent.” She slows down on “Say When” and “Wearing My Ring” without ever taking the focus away from her dexterous vocals. Ultimately, the project affirms that regardless of the darkness around us, love remains as omnipresent as the air we breathe, and her distinct viewpoint — brought to life with the trusted team of collaborators — is the work of a pop voice that’s here to stay. The LP is a shining mosaic of all things Molly: effortlessly infectious, self-assured, and brimming with personality and hope. Her work continues through a partnership with LIFEBEAT, a program of the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation that fights for social justice and human rights for those affected by HIV and AIDS. On the horizon, Molly will be opening for Betty Who, performing at Pride festivals nationwide and at All Things Go in September, cementing her status as the quintessential pop princess of our times — one who makes sure every single person in the crowd feels seen and emboldened. “I feel like my purpose is to make music that makes people feel good and confident and understood,” she says. “If you’re at a Molly Grace show, you’re going to feel better about yourself when it’s over.” Pop with a purpose, and glitter meeting grit — Molly Grace is delivering top-level artistry in every department.
