There’s a lot for Mayday Parade to celebrate these days. The Tallahassee, Florida-formed quintet recently wrapped a career-defining tour marking two decades together, one that saw more than 70,000 fans pack sold-out venues to celebrate their storied catalog. They performed a triumphant main-stage set at the 30th anniversary of the Vans Warped Tour, a full-circle moment for a band that made their name selling self-released CDs in those sweltering parking lots nearly 20 years ago. Their landmark debut LP, A Lesson In Romantics, turned 18, still beloved for its iconic singles like the platinum-certified “Jamie All Over” and gold-certified “Miserable At Best.” And the group released Sweet, the first in a self-released three-album series that reaffirmed just how creatively energized they still remain. Now, with Sad, the second installment in that trilogy, Mayday Parade dive deeper into the emotional nuance that’s long defined their work. The emotional journey found on songs like “Under My Sweater,” “It’s Not All Bad” and “Promises” is the beating heart of the band, the reason fans proudly wear MAYDAY PARADE IS AN EMOTION shirts and hoodies like a badge of honor. It’s the compass that’s guided the band through their entire career – especially during this three-album arc – pushing them to chase the next great idea, whether it arrives in a sudden spark or takes decades to fully round into form. It’s all in the songs, and when it’s right, you’ll know it when you hear it.

Awesome venue with a great staff. Just went there to see Mayday Parade with Just Friends, Mom Jeans, and State Champs– my goodness what a good time! The crowd was amazing, prices for drinks/merch were understandable, and the staff was very helpful, especially with the crowd surfing. They definitely helped me find my glasses after everything was over! Will definitely be looking forward to more shows here.
Showbox SoDo Seattle, WAThis was in fact my very first experience with seeing Mayday Parade LIVE. However, that being said I'm hopeful that it will not be my last. It would be very hard for me to put a finger on one singular thing I loved most about their set. However, having had the opportunity to see them LIVE for the first time is an experience I'll never forget.
GLC Live at 20 Monroe Grand Rapids, MI10/10. I’ve been to many concerts this year but this concert made me feel alive the most. From the bands getting ready to perform on stage to them singing they made everyone in the room sing at the top of their lungs. Mayday is definitely a band I recommend everyone see in their lifetime they are the most special band I’ve ever seen.
Alamo City Music Hall San Antonio, TXThey played so many songs I thought they’d never play. I thought they would do some versions of songs that i thought they never did Bc it wasn’t the “popular one”. But they know us. They know that everyone of their fans loves what they do and respect every single reason why and appeal to every last one of those reasons.
