Skupina No Name vznikla 26. augusta 1996 v Košiciach a už od svojich začiatkov sa stala jednou z najznámejších kapiel na slovenskej hudobnej scéne. Zakladajúcimi členmi boli Viliam Gutray a traja bratia Timkovci – Igor, Roman a Ivan. Neskôr sa k nim pridali Dušan Timko a Zoltán Sallai, čím vznikla stabilná šesťčlenná zostava. V roku 2019, po odchode Viliama Gutraya, sa ku kapele pridal nový basgitarista Pavol “Pali” Jakab, ktorý posilnil hudobnú dynamiku kapely a prispel k jej ďalšiemu vývoju.
