2003年、14歳でソニーミュージックよりシングル「Believe」でシンガーとしてデビュー。 第18回日本ゴールドディスク大賞「ニュー・アーティスト・オブ・ザ・イヤー」受賞。 全世界で大人気のアニメ『機動戦士ガンダム』シリーズ、『機動戦士ガンダム SEED』、その続編『機動戦士ガンダム SEED DESTINY』のOP&ED主題歌とその関連作品楽曲を計5曲担当する。 クオリティの高いダンスパフォーマンスでその表現力が高く評価され、L.A.を中心としたアメリカや海外ツアーを展開。まさにワールドワイドな活躍を果たす。 近年ではブロードウェイミュージカル『Kinky Boots』など舞台作品に数多く出演。映画出演など女優としての才能も発揮している。 Nami Tamaki debuted at the age of 14 with the single “Believe” released by Sony Music in 2003.
