A California-based quartet blending midwest emo, grind pop, math-rock, math-pop, and indie sounds, P.E.E. (occasionally standing for Potentially Egregious Error, stylized as Pee) made only a fleeting impression on the 90s indie rock landscape. Andee Connors--who also played in A Minor Forest and J Church, and worked at Aquarius Records--handled drums, joined by Jim Stanley on guitar and vocals (formerly of San Diego's Helicopter), Kelly Green on vocals and guitar, and Tiber Scheer on bass (also of Lowercase). The band put out two full-lengths—Now, More Charm and More Tender (1996) and The Roaring Mechanism (1998)—along with several singles throughout the decade. After going on hiatus in 1999, they briefly reconvened in 2010 and have recently reunited again in 2026 to mark the 30th anniversary of their debut album.
