Femme discrète et singulière, Pauline Croze s’est imposée dès ses débuts par une voix immédiatement identifiable, un jeu de guitare personnel et des chansons passant de la légèreté au bouleversement. Révélée aux Transmusicales de Rennes en 2003, elle publie en 2005 un premier album éponyme chez Wagram, disque d’or, qui lui vaut une nomination aux Victoires de la musique et le Prix Constantin. « T’es beau » deviendra l’un de ses titres emblématiques, repris par Imany et Angèle. Depuis, Pauline Croze n’a cessé de suivre des chemins artistiques singuliers, évoluant entre fusion, pop, bossa et a fondé son propre label, Vilmamusica. Ce nouvel album, à paraître le 5 février 2027, nous livre un son unique et homogène entre chanson, pop lo-fi et groove hypnotique inspiré de Sade, Bashung, Mac de Marco, Khruangbin… Il allie la finesse des sons texturés, ultra-modernes à une écriture exigeante et nous invite à plonger dans un décor de western onirique, mystérieux et lumineux.
