Rodrigo Andres González-Espindola a.k.a. Rod Gonzalez plays bass and sings in the band Die Ärzte. He was born on May 19th, 1968 in Valparaíso, Chile. In addition to his work for Die Ärzte Gonzalez took part in several bands, e. g. Rainbirds, Depp Jones and at the moment Abwärts. Moreover, he produced albums of bands like LaFloripondio, Slime and Destination Zero. He even released a solo single called I'll Fight Hell To Hold You in 2001.
