Rudi were: (1) A late 1970s Northern Irish Punk Rock band from East Belfast. (2) In 1982 Rudi was founded as well in Finland. The general members of a punkrock band Ratsia founded it with the new vocalist Jussi Kettu. The Second line-up had instead Pelle Miljoona & N.U.S. -guitar player P.B. Huopalainen. The drummer Repa Rantsila came from Stalker. Rudi Lukkarinen himself was the bass player from Ratsia. One of his works was then called Rudi`s reggae. (1) Rudi were as well formed by a gang of school pals in 1975, fed up with the state of the music that was being played on the radio and on TV, they decided to form their own band. The members were Brian Young, Ronnie Mathews, Graham Marshall, Leigh Carson and Drew Brown.
