Rob Chapman, the renowned guitarist, YouTuber, and founder of Chapman Guitars, is stepping into a new era of music with his latest project—performing and releasing music under his own name. With over 300 million YouTube views and a three-time "Guitar Personality of the Year" title from Total Guitar Magazine, Rob has been an influential force in the guitar world for over a decade. Having shared the stage with icons like Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, and Guthrie Govan, he now embarks on a new musical journey alongside an outstanding trio of musicians—Robert Spiteri (drums), Mark Grech (bass), and Luke Grech (guitar). Each member of the band brings a wealth of experience and artistry. Robert Spiteri, an accomplished session drummer and tutor, has been a driving force in Malta’s music scene for over 20 years, performing with top acts across multiple genres. Mark Grech, a highly versatile bassist with a deep musical lineage, has played everything from intimate acoustic sets to major rock festivals. Luke Grech, a skilled session guitarist, producer, and studio owner, has worked with some of Malta’s most recognised artists and contributed to national and international music festivals. Their paths converged through a shared passion for creating authentic, dynamic music. Initially connecting through session work and collaborations, their chemistry as a four-piece was undeniable, leading to the formation of this exciting new band. Their debut single, “Mourning of The Owl,” is set for release on March 28th, offering a first glimpse into their evolving sound. A full-length album will follow in 2025, blending powerful rock elements with intricate melodies and immersive storytelling. With a fusion of technical mastery and raw emotion, Rob Chapman and his band are set to captivate audiences with their distinct sound.
