About Raul Malo
RAUL MALO is the incomparable frontman of genre-defying, GRAMMY Award-winning band The Mavericks, and the sole writer of many of their songs. His free-wheeling, swaggering style seamlessly blends neotraditional country, rock ’n roll, and Latin rhythmic fervor, and prominently features his lush, soaring baritone. Great acoustic guitar performance. Great on Steinway piano also. He really talked down his piano playing and lack of lessons but he was fantastic on the beautiful grand piano. His voice was soaring and acoustics of the Harris Center were perfect. Can't wait to see him and the Mavericks. Hopefully they will schedule something in Sacramento again this year.

The magnificent, melodious voice of Raul Malo is always a favorite with the Mavericks, and even more enjoyable in a solo performance. I’ve waited a few years to see his solo performance, and plan to se as many more as I can.

This was my first time at City Winery and it was beautiful. The food was delicious and everything from the tickets, food & drinks were priced just right. Raul Malo was amazing and I hope that he comes back.

A fantastic voice, talented guitarist, sings like he enjoys it, smiles, engages with the audience and is appreciative of his fans. It was a great concert and I wish I could follow him around the state for all five shows.
