Roger Waters was the main lyricist and composer for the classic British rock band Pink Floyd. He, along with Syd Barrett, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright, formed the band in 1965 and released their first album, "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn" in 1967. In 1968, Syd Barrett was replaced by guitarist/singer David Gilmour. He and Gilmour were the driving force behind the albums "Meddle," "Dark Side of the Moon," and "Wish You Were Here"; Waters eventually became the primary songwriter, being the driving force behind "Animals", and "The Wall". Waters became well-known for being an intense perfectionist and his controlling nature alienated the rest of the band. "The Final Cut", released in 1983, was essentially a Roger Waters solo album "performed by Pink Floyd" as the credits stated. This would be the group's last album together. David Gilmour decided to carry on with Pink Floyd, without Waters. Waters, believing that Pink Floyd was a "non-entity" without him, sued the rest of the band to retire the Pink Floyd name. His lawsuit ultimately failed, and Pink Floyd released two more studio albums (each followed by a double live album) without him. Waters has so far released the following solo albums: * "Music From The Body" soundtrack with Ron Geesin(1970) * "The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking" (1984) * "When the Wind Blows" soundtrack with contributions from other artists as well (1986) * "Radio K.A.O.S." (1987) * "The Wall: Live in Berlin" (1990) * "Amused to Death" (1992) * "In the Flesh" live (2000) * "Flickering Flame: The Solo Years, Vol. 1" (2003) * "Ça Ira" (opera) (2005).

Ah ... Roger Waters ... still no filter, still battling for the sanity of humanity, still f-bombing. Oh, the pig. Protest ... dystopia ... violence ... what really has changed since 70's. Message = We are still being controlled. Today, multi-generational fans love Roger and Pink Floyd. The show was brilliantly executed. The sold out crowd cheered his 3 hour set and at the end brought him to tears. Yes, Roger. We love you. We love your message.

PPG Paints Arena Pittsburgh, PAOne of the best shows I’ve ever seen and that’s saying a lot since I’ve been to hundreds of shows over the years! It’s very political, but that’s just one of the many things I loved about it… I saw Roger Waters 5 years ago in Budapest and this show blew that one out of the water, no pun intended… he is still as awesome as ever!
Ball Arena Denver, COAmazing show…the sound was so clean and the show was touching at times, exciting at others. so much beauty followed by too much visceral pain. Money and Us and Them sounded a bit worn out. As always, Roger Waters presents a stellar show that was worth the 2 1/2 year wait . Sadly, I left a bit early because I was getting bummed and bored.
FTX Arena Miami, FLI went to this with my Cousin & Uncle.. I've seen Roger Waters about 4 times before, together with my dad. Roger was my dads favorite artist and I am sure he would have loved this concert as well.. I am glad that I went because to me it was a reminder of all the great times I got to have with my dad.
