About Raptors
Hailing from Los Angeles California, the members of Raptors come together to forge a vicious mix of pounding drums, lethal guitars, pummeling bass lines and ferocious vocals that converge to create a sound that pays respect to the past, stands up to the present and will kick down the door to the future. A punch to the throat of today’s watered-down, homogenized state of music, Raptors is pure, raw energy – on stage and in the studio. And their self-titled debut album is a testament to the band, their sacrifice, and the long road they have traveled in a relatively short time. Aggressive in every sense of the word, Raptors is a truculent debut album that Dying Scene describes as “fast, lean with teeth and claws to spare,” before adding, “Describing Raptors sound is to straddle two very different time periods, with the early days of hardcore meshing with the new.” Produced by Paul Miner (New Found Glory, Terror, Nerve Agents, Thrice), Raptors perfectly captures the band’s intense live sound and creates a listening experience that will excite fans of bands such as Rise Against, Gallows, Every Time I Die and others.
