Renaissance is a band with a rich history unique unto themselves as progressive rock pioneers who rose from the ashes of the seminal UK rock band, The Yardbirds. Acclaimed for their unique blending of progressive rock with classical and symphonic influences, the band's career has now spanned over fifty years spearheaded by the 5-octave voice of Annie Haslam and the masterful songwriting skills of the late Michael Dunford and Betty Thatcher. They are widely considered to be the band that most successfully and routinely utilized the sound of a full orchestra in their recordings. The band has toured throughout the world and has performed at Carnegie Hall with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and additionally at the Royal Albert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Royal Chorale Society. Renaissance had a top ten hit in the UK with their song “Northern Lights” that still demands airplay to this day. In recent years the band has toured the U.S, Europe, Japan and Brazil and released several ‘live’ concerts on CD and DVDs to critical acclaim! In this concert season of 2024, the band will be travelling the U.S, presenting a repertoire of the most popular Renaissance classics spanning the band's vast and successful career. This will be their ‘IN GRATITUDE’ FAREWELL Tour.

The show was just amazing! Renaissance always sound terrific but when you add the Chamber Orchestra - it’s incredible and inspiring! Hearing some of Annie’s solo songs with the Orchestra was phenomenal! I can’t wait to see them again!
The Town Hall New York City, NYAnnie Haslam was amazing as usual. Unfortunately, I ended up seated between two 300+ lb people who took up both arm rests. A sardine had more room in a can. Left the concert during the intermission and missed the 2nd half.
The Newton Theatre Newton, NJTook a few songs for Annie to get warmed up, but once she did she was magnificent. As was the rest of the band. So glad to finally see them after 40ish years.
The Oaks Theater Oakmont, PAAnnie was as amazing as she always is. The band was superb! I was a little disappointed that some songs from the early days of hte band weren't included in the set lits.
Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center for the Arts Red Bank, NJWe were expecting a lot more playing and a lot less talking. The theater is fabulous, and the band was good, but there was too much talk and not enough music.
