HOG MOB ministries was founded in 2000 by Sevin, a former "BLOOD" gang member from Oak Park, a notorious drug and gang infested neighborhood of Sacramento, Ca. After coming to saving faith in Jesus Christ, Sevin set out to create what he believed was the kind of fellowship Jesus always intended for us to have, but the streets have perverted. Since then Hog Mob has grown with members all over the country as well as having many community-based discipleship facilities and projects. HOG MOB is an acronym that stands for: “HOOK’D ON GOD-MINISTRY OVA BIZNESS”. What this basically means is, we addictively desire and actively pursue a relationship with the one true and living God. We also choose to live a life that serves his purpose not our own. As a whole, Hog Mob Ministries is an urban accountability and discipleship fellowship that focuses on living out biblical fellowship with brothers in Christ all over the world as well as helping those who are unaware of the "good news" of the Gospel to come to faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior.

It was an intimate time to personally meet with him, talk, get prayer, and buy merchandise in a very laid back environment. I love his ministry and music. They also make it a free experience and gave out ice cream from sweet cups and Chick-fil-A sandwiches water and Kool aid. I will always go to a event if I'm able to when he is in the KC area.
