Saurom es una banda de rock-folk-metal formada el 1 de septiembre de 1996 en San Fernando (Cádiz), cuyo particular estilo se ha denominado «juglar metal»: un conglomerado de música rock, folk, música medieval y celta, aderezado con letras basadas en la literatura, principalmente en leyendas, poemas, romances y cuentos tradicionales, aunque con trasfondo crítico, cultural y social. Con 25 años de trayectoria han editado 10 álbumes, además de las primeras 4 maquetas de larga duración entre 1996 y 2000. Sus miembros son: Miguel Ángel Franco (voz), Antonio Ruiz (batería), Raúl Rueda (guitarra), José A. Gallardo (bajo), Santi Carrasco (teclados) y Narci Lara Márquez (guitarra, coros, gaita, violín y flautas). Sus directos son espectaculares y sus seguidores se cuentan por miles por medio mundo.
