Hailing from Bournemouth, UK, SOS are a four-piece rock band founded by brothers Sparxx and Ash Jenkins (guitar and bass), drummer Josh Rose, and vocalist Josh ‘JV’ Vaughan. Having all performed in various bands and projects since childhood, the members came together in 2022 to form SOS, and have spent their first four years establishing themselves as a fresh, genre-bending act with a sensational live show to boot. With an insatiable appetite for performing live, the band have wasted no time getting out in the real world, showcasing their outstanding song-writing and showmanship to bedazzled audiences in Bournemouth (their hometown), London, Essex, Swindon, Blackpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow and even Hamburg, Germany. SOS have quickly earned themselves a reputation and an adoring fan-base, leading to their biggest achievement yet - featuring as semi-finalists on season 19 of Britain's Got Talent, 2026. Their televised audition was extremely well received by the live audience and judges alike, with their subsequent semi-final performance earning high praise from Simon Cowell, Aleisha Dixon, Amanda Holden and KSI. The international exposure catapulted the group‘s public profile to another level, with a sea of new fans taking to social media to sing their praises, and even garnered support from local and national news publications such as BBC News, The Mirror, and The Daily Express. In 2024, SOS won Takedown Festival’s showcase competition, earning them the opening slot on Portsmouth’s beloved metal festival for 2025, which in previous years has featured rock and metal giants such as Sleep Token, Don Broco and Skindred. Alongside their passion for playing live, platforms such as TikTok have allowed the band to showcase their fun-loving, tongue-in-cheek personalities to a wider audience, helping them cultivate a dedicated fan-base who enthusiastically follow them online and around the country. Other notable achievements include mainstream airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio Solent and Kerrang! as well as endorsements with EVH Gear, Bare Knuckle Pickups and Vocalzone. "I don't know why you're called SOS, cause you don't need saving! You blew everyone away!!" - KSI, BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT
