Sean McVerry is a composer and singer-songwriter based out of Brooklyn, NY. Blending folk-song sensibility with overdriven drum-machines, warbling synths, and intertwining guitars, he has defined his aesthetic as a songwriter and performer. His creative palette mirrors his eclectic body of work, seeking inspiration from The Beach Boys, LCD Soundsystem and Paul Simon, to Ravel and Brian Eno. His first EP, entitled Hourglass Switchboard 1 was released in January of 2016. McVerry co-produces all his songs with longtime friend and collaborator Elite (Dreamville, J. Cole, Ruff Ryders). The follow up to Hourglass Switchboard 1 is set to release Summer of 2016.
