Just behind Sofia Camara’s full-bodied vocals, you’ll undeniably hear a gentle heartbeat in the background. For as bold as her delivery may often be, she possesses an uncanny sense of empathy. Bringing raw truth to 21st century pop, she taps directly into emotion with each and every performance and song. Her music will remind you that it’s not only okay to be who you are, but that it’s also essential to love who you are. Initially, Sofia attracted a social media following by posting covers. Mid-COVID, her take on “When I Look At You” by Miley Cyrus exploded on TikTok, scoring 9.8 million views and a comment from Miley herself. Following a quiet grind, her original “Who Do I Call Now? (Hellbent)” surged online, gathering north of 91 million streams and counting. She supported Alex Warren on the road and launched her own headline tour. Following “Do You Love Me” and “Starlight,” she joined forces with Dean Lewis on “With You.” She continued to buzz with the 2025 EP Was I(t) Worth It? and “Girls Like You.” She graced the bills of Lollapalooza and Osheaga, delivered a standout rendition of the Canadian national anthem at the CFL Grey Cup. Her rendition of “What Are You Waiting For?” by Nickelback was selected as the official 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship Song. She also notably received co-signs courtesy of Justin Timberlake, Tate McRae, Gracie Abrams, and more. Amassing over 150 million streams and earning critical acclaim, she once again holds nothing back on her 2025 Hard To Love EP [Universal Music Canada/21 Entertainment Group] and a whole lot more to come in 2026 and beyond.
