Streetlights have emerged as an exciting five piece indie-rock band from the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. Made up of brothers John and Pearse Topliss, cousins Ethan Gosatti and Tony Menegola and Brad Watson on bass, they have cemented themselves as a key player in Western Australia’s indie scene. Streetlights have produced a diverse range of music but are most recognisable for their indie-pop earworms. Releases vary from their indie-pop anthem “Murray Street” and extend to expressive Pop Punk through their debut EP “Bad Actors”. Their work has found audiences around the country and beyond, with premieres on Triple J’s flagship indie program, “Home and Hosed”, playlist features on Spotify’s “Local Noise”, appearances on Perth’s RTRFM, and the backing of countless independent radio programmers across the country. Cutting their teeth on the late-night club scene, Streetlights have forged a reputation for being an extremely engaging live act. Starting with cover gigs in their high school days, to playing with the likes of DICE, Children Collide, Surf Trash, Humble Armada and The Stamps, on some of the biggest stages Australia’s West.
