Spooky is an electronica duo from the uk consisting of Duncan Forbes and Charlie May. They debuted with "Gargantuan" after signing to guerilla records, William Orbit's old progressive house label. The album was critically acclaimed, as was the follow-up, "Found Sound" (1996). This was followed by several popular singles, released on Spooky's own generic records. Spooky are also talented remixers, reworking William Orbit's "Water from a Vine Leaf" into one of the most haunting dance tracks of the '90s -- it was the closing track on Sasha's first "Northern Exposure" mix album. In 1999, Charlie May collaborated with Sasha on his "Xpander EP" and in 2002 he co-produced most tracks on Sasha's "Airdrawndagger" album. The same year saw the release of "Belong," the first Spooky single on deviant records. A welcome return was signaled in 2006 with the track "No Return" and a new home on the web www.spooky.uk.com. A new album is slated for late 2007.
