Sierra Hull is widely regarded to be a master of her instrument; A six-time GRAMMY nominated artist and songwriter, recognized for her most recent projects, A Tip Toe High Wire (2025), 25 Trips (2020) and Weighted Mind (2016), she is also the 7x recipient of IBMA’s Mandolin Player of the Year, the first woman to ever receive this distinction. A pioneer for acoustic music throughout her already impressive multi-decade career, she has graced the country's most iconic stages, including Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry, and the White House. Her virtuosic abilities have garnered respect from genre-defining trailblazers, friends, and collaborators such as Alison Krauss, Sturgill Simpson, Eric Clapton, Dolly Parton, Béla Fleck, Steve Martin, Brandi Carlile, Dave Matthews, Cory Wong, Billy Strings and more. Originally hailing from Byrdstown, Tennessee, her unique sound is rooted in bluegrass, and she is widely considered one of acoustic music’s most inventive artists.

Sierra Hull was fantastic! She has a a great band and I also really enjoyed the opener, Morgan Via. We came from Columbus, Ohio to check out Chattanooga and see the show. It was well worth it. I loved the venue. I was really impressed with how good the sound quality was. It was great to be able to see this kind of talent in such an intimate setting.
The Barrelhouse Ballroom Chattanooga, TNI had seen Sierra and her current band earlier this year at a college auditorium. At this smaller venue, the sound was perfect. Sierra is already one of the best in the business, and it was particularly interesting how some of the songs from the Weighted Mind album sounded with electric guitar and sax in the mix. Simply a great show ....
Open Chord Music Knoxville, TNHer concert at Memorial Hall in Cincinnati was one of the best musical performances I've ever attended! Close to musical perfection! While her recorded music is extremely good, it doesn't compare to her live performance! When you experience her personality, when you see the complexity of what she and her band play, it's a jaw dropping experience!
Memorial Hall OTR Cincinnati, OHSierra Hull and Justin Moses played their hearts out and thrilled the crowd at the 04 Center. They performed their own music as well as tributes to bluegrass icons such as Doc Watson and Tony Rice. They are so talented and such gifted musicians. It was a pure joy watching and listening to them.
04 Center Austin, TXLoved this show. Band was loose and tight at the same time--really on the mark. Sierra was as gracious and energetic as always, with some good new songs. The change of pace toward the end when the band gathers around a single mic is a nice moment and a nice throwback to tradition.
