Alors qu’on pensait le genre épuisé depuis longtemps, Smash Hit Combo persiste et signe depuis presque 10 ans dans un rap métal qui doit beaucoup à la scène US des années 90. Si Limp Bizkit et autres Incubus règnent en maitre dans les influences du groupe, ce n’est que pour mieux en tirer un groove imparable et une efficacité redoutable dans l’écriture de textes en français. Textes engagés et ancrés dans la culture des jeux-vidéos, de la surconsommation d’images, et de tout ce qui fait le 21ème siècle. Smash Hit Combo dénonce les travers de sa propre génération, mais crie aussi ses rêves et ses envies en portant fièrement l’étendard des « hardcore gamers ». Si sa musique évolue avec le temps et ses membres, elle n’en reste pas moins énergique, puissante et relève fièrement et avec réussite un pari artistique et osé,celui de réaliser ses rêves. Smash Hit Combo is a french Brutal Rapcore band from Cernay/France. Over the years they created a unique, powerful and intense metal played with flawless precision and extreme sincerity somewhere between Death metal,Electo,Neo metal and Hip Hop. They released in 2009 their first album "nolife" produced by Stephane Buriez (BLack Bomb A,L'esprit du clan,darkness dynamite) and Christophe Edrich (X vision). After more than 150 shows and 2 years of touring in Europe, Russia and Cananda, they're realeasing"Reset"their 2nd album.
