Listening to The Supermen Lovers’ records is like diving into a long, timeless wave and discovering a unique, organic sound made of synthesizers, samples, and live-played instruments—recognizable from the very first bar. Launched with Starlight and followed by a rich musical career, the producer has inspired an entire new electronic scene : Nu Disco. A Paris Conservatory graduate, Guillaume Atlan founded Lafessé Records in 1999 before conquering the globe with the hit "Starlight" (#1 in nearly 20 countries). A sought-after remixer for the likes of New Order and Donny Hathaway, he later explored darker club textures with Boys in the Wood and collaborated with funk legend Rick Bailey (Delegation) on the album Between The Ages. After a foray into film scoring, he released "Body Double" in 2022—a fourth album reflecting a creative "schizophrenia" between vocal electro-disco and hypnotic club tracks, deeply influenced by the years he spent immersing himself in the Ukrainian music scene. The momentum continues: while an explosive interpolation by OneRepublic has brought "Starlight" back to the global airwaves, Guillaume is currently finalizing his 5th studio album, set for release in 2026.
