The American musical vocal group consisting of sisters Debbie, Joni, Kim and Kathy Sledge, achieved international success at the height of the disco era with breakthrough album We Are Family. The iconic single "We Are Family" reached number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and earned a Grammy Award nomination. Further dance-floor anthems include "He's the Greatest Dancer", "Lost in Music", "Thinking of You" and 80's pop smash "Frankie". Following the unexpected passing of sister Joni in 2017, the group continues to tour and is still very much a family affair with Debbie Sledge performing alongside daughter Camille Sledge, son David Sledge and Joni's son Thaddeus Sledge. They are joined by longtime member Tanya Ti-et and are titled Sister Sledge ft. Sledgendary, and perform with their spectacular band all over the world, specialising in BRINGING THE PARTY with the family’s classic hits. In 2022, the group released ‘FREE’– their first single as a collective in almost 20 years. Following a 4-star review in The Times for their Roundhouse show in London, the family continue to deliver the ‘Sledgendary’ message that “Nothing is Greater than Love”, spreading joy with music that uplifts and celebrates life, love and togetherness.
