With every song from TOMMA INTET, it feels like they are giving birth to a new galaxy. The expansive, dreamy rock created by the band’s eight members has made them unmistakable within Swedish alternative music. Since their beginning, they have built a world of their own, where shimmering guitars, huge harmonies and grand arrangements meet everyday stories and existential questions. With a fondness for life’s contradictions, TOMMA INTET moves between the melancholy of the Swedish welfare state and the infinity of space, between the beautiful and the absurd, between longing for something better and the realization that the world may have already gone to hell.
